Self Assessment




My two greatest strengths:

1.     Determination. I would have to say this is one of my greatest strengths. Once I have my mind set that I am going to do something I make sure I get it done. This strength has got me through a lot of tasks, especially those that are undesirable.
2.     Open- mindedness. I think the fact that I am very open minded is the greatest strength that I have. In life we come across so many different people and situations that take us out of our comfort zone. I have always been able to adjust, understand and compromise with the ideas and beliefs of others without losing my own ideas.

My two areas for improvement:

1.     Time Management. I have a very bad habit of procrastinating
Short-term plan: Work on the rest of my assignments for this week in a timely manner so that I’m not stuck doing everything at the last minute.
Long-term plan: Next semester I should use a planner and a calendar so that I can make a weekly schedule of when I am going to do my work. 

2.     Patience. I am very impatient and anxious especially when I want something done.
Short-term plan: Remember that things don’t always happen on my time.
Long-term plan: This is something that I have to work on internally and mentally. When I feel myself getting impatient I need to remember that won’t make things happen any faster.

Insights:
Overall I think my performance is good. My strengths and weaknesses work for me in a way that I always get things done. However if I work hard on my areas of improvement my performance will enhance in a way that tasks will be a lot less stressful for me.
